Meet Dr. Juan Arboleda, who defended his PhD last Meet Dr. Juan Arboleda, who defended his PhD last month and is studying how myotonic dystrophy affects the brain, a question the field hasn't had the right tools to answer until now. He and his team built a novel mouse model to change that, then presented it at the International Myotonic Dystrophy Consortium alongside longtime collaborator Betty Bekele from Emory. Congrats on the PhD, Juan, we can't wait to see where this research goes next. ๐Ÿง  #MyotonicDystrophy #GeneticsResearch #UFGenetics
