One Tree, One Planet: Creative Collusion

November 16, 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

A select group of University of Florida faculty and staff are invited to mingle with colleagues, meet new collaborators and celebrate the diversity of life on Earth in an evening that blends art and science.

Presentations by Doug Soltis, James Oliverio and Naziha Mestaoui will be followed by TreeTender, a short 3-D animated movie produced by Oliverio and the Digital Worlds Institute.

Refreshments will be served, and the museum’s “Rare, Beautiful & Fascinating: 100 Years @FloridaMuseum” exhibit will be open.

As twilight falls, venture outside for Mestaoui’s interactive light projection of the Tree of Life on the back of the Harn Museum.

This event is by invitation only. Please RSVP to RSVP@flmnh.ufl.edu.
